Agami Annual Fundraiser in Bay Area, California Raised $100K in May 2017

We are happy to announce that Agami Central had a very successful fundraising event on Sunday, May 7, 2017. This event, known as Agami Central Annual Fundraiser, was held in Chandni Restaurant in Fremont, California. Thanks to the generous contributions of the attendees and donors, we raised over $100,000. A big THANK YOU to all our supporters, donors, and sympathizers for helping us achieve this huge milestone. This is a testament to Agami's track record as an organization, donor commitment, and single focus on education for the underprivileged children.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the Agami volunteers who worked very hard for this event. Their diligence in planning, time commitment, and attention to detail made it a smooth and fun event for the attendees. Special thanks to all of our local Agamite children who performed in the event. Like the children’s choir performance of Dhitang Dhitang Bole, the group performance of Heal the World and our two dance groups that performed to Takdhum Takdhum and a medley of popular Bollywood songs. We are also very grateful to the popular Bengali duo Beauty Das and Rajib Rahman for their live performance. Thanks to our guest speakers that included an Agami Board Director, a Vice President of Agami, a third generation Indian-Bangladeshi-American that grew up surrounded by Agami all her life, and a local Saratoga City Councilmember. Moreover our event sponsors have supported us to make it a financially viable event. We would like to thank all our event sponsors: Prime Silicon Technologies, Fenox Venture Capital, SoloPoint Solutions, WePro Real Estate Services Inc, Plotter Pros, NY Life, EuroCar, SilverCreek Dental Group, CalCoast Financial Corp, Wells Fargo Advisors, Midraar Fashions, and Snap Fitness.

Finally, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to everyone in the community for your ongoing commitment and support for Agami. We could not have done it without you. Your involvement is our path to success in this journey for the education of children of Bangladesh.
