Agami Carolinas Third Annual Pitha Uthshob – THANK YOU

John F. Kennedy once said, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.”

As we gather with family and friends to give thanks for the many blessings in our lives, we must remember the vocation to which we all are called - education. We have been given an unique opportunity to embark together on a journey to enlightenment, through our organization Agami. For that, we are very thankful.

Agami had its annual fund raising Pitha Uthshob on October 28, 2017. It was a successful event all around.
Pitha was phenomenal, performances were wonderful, the MCs did a beautiful job, and we had overwhelming participation from Bengali and non-Bengali communities. All arrangements of pitha, dinner, snacks, MCs, stage performance, painting, face painting, henna painting, crowd management, performer appreciations and fundraising were impeccable.

We got very close to meeting our fundraising goal for 2017. We are thinking about many new opportunities to rebuild our system to meet the future goals and exceed measures of our past. We would like to include our second generation as a big part of our new structure.

We are very thankful for the opportunity that we have been given to continue to focus our efforts in providing underprivileged children, with the possibility to successfully achieve their career objectives with an accessible, affordable, relevant and purposeful education.

We could not have done this without you - and for that - WE THANK YOU!

We are open to constructive feedback. It will only help us grow. We are humbled by your participation and look forward to many more such events in the future.
