We are delighted to inform you that Agami (US 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit) is organizing the Agami Chess Guild (ACG) 2021 Online Charity Tournament to support disadvantaged children in Agami-supporting schools in Bangladesh to promote strategic thinking, problem-solving and cognitive development.
The ACG team will be hosting the tournament on the lichess.org platform with our patron Grand Master Reefat Bin Sattar and advisor International Master Abu Sufina Shakil along with arbitrator Shakil Abdullah. The top 10 contestants from each category will participate in a rapid simul exhibition game with Grand Master Reefat Bin Sattar himself and it will be streamed through Agami's social media channels - Agami Facebook and Agami Youtube for your friends and family’s support, and enjoyment.

ACG team is using this opportunity to raise financial support for vulnerable children and youth living in less fortunate conditions and help their cognitive development through the after school ACG chess education program.

The winners of the charity event will be awarded an autographed chessboard by Grand Master Reefat Bin Sattar & International Master Abu Sufian Shakil, a certificate and Agami Chess Guild T-shirt

We will be having the Under 16 and Adult tournament on Friday, Aug 20, 2021 at 9PM New York (Saturday, Aug 21, 2021 at 7AM Bangladesh) and Saturday, Aug 21, 2021 at 11AM New York (Saturday, Aug 21, 2021 at 9PM Bangladesh). It will be played in Zoom and the whole session will be recorded.
The Concluding Ceremony will be held on Sunday, Aug 22, 2021 at 11AM (Sunday, Aug 21, 2021 at 9PM Bangladesh) and will be streamed live on Agami Facebook and Agami YouTube. See a sneak peak of Panelists and Hosts at the Concluding Ceremony.

Rani Hamid, International Master, has been representing women in chess for decades. She is the first female chess international master from Bangladesh and has been advocating women empowerment all her life. We are humbled and delighted to get Rani Hamid’s endorsement for Agami Chess Guild program.
