Agami Annual Fundraiser 2020

On September 26, 2020, the central group of Agami in the San Francisco Bay Area was able to successfully hold a virtual fundraising event during the 2020 covid environment. The event was streamed live on Facebook and YouTube platforms from 7PM to midnight (Pacific Standard Time). Guests enjoyed 5 hours of renowned entertainers from locations around the world including the United States, Bangladesh, Australia, and several countries in the Middle East.

With a fundraising target of $100,000, Agami was able to raise $110,000 by midnight. This could not have been possible without the support of all Agami volunteers and performers who made this event a success, despite all challenges of a grass roots effort. Within a few days, the video had over 14k views reaching to over 40k people.
