Science in Life- Ensuring Sustainable Living in Bangladesh

‘Annual Science Fair- 2023’  was organized for the 5th time, as part of the ''Life is Fun'' Science Education Project by Agami Education Foundation (AEF). This project aims to teach basic science to primary-level children in a semi-formal manner to stimulate their interest in science. The event was held based on the theme “Science in Life- Ensuring Sustainable Living in Bangladesh”.  This year, the science fair was organized at Saffron Auditorium in Muhammadpur on 27th October 2023.

Dr. Nova Ahmed (Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, North South University), Dr. MR Kabir (Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Daffodil University), and Jasmin Naher (Lecturer, Department of Chemistry, Government Teachers Training College) were the special guests and judges of this event.

Prabha Arora, Toitombur and Sohag Swapnadhara Pathshala supported LIF in organizing the event, Toitombur set up a book stall and Sohag Swapnadhara Pathshala set up a handicrafts booth. The 'Jolputul' organization organizes a small puppet show around noon to entertain the children and relieve them of any stress or tension.

a) Winner: Switch Tahmina Banu Biddyaniketon (Project: Water Quality and Purification)
b) Runner-up: Empyrean Hope School (Project: Waste Management and Recycling)
Grade IV:
a) Winner: Alok Shikkhaloy (Project: Biogas Preparation)
b) Runner-up: Shohag Swapnadhara Pathshala (Project: Renewable Energy and Conservation for                  Education)
Grade V:
a) Winner: PSD Pearabag School (Project: Local Ecosystem and Biogas)
b) Runner-up: Alok Shikkhaloy (Project: Greenhouse Effect and its Remedies)
