Moinul Islam (Mridul)

Moinul Islam is a long time resident of San Jose Bay Area. His has been in the technology industry all this time and has worked for various tech companies (Trident Microsystems, Micron Technology, Altera/Intel & currently at Nextest) in engineering and management roles.

He has lovely wife, Kochi, and daughter, Aiyaana. In his spare times he likes to play soccer, hiking and fly mini drones.

Moinul is very grateful to what has been blessed to him and he would like to help the underprivileged achieve at least what has been blessed to him, if not more. Moinul has been actively participating in the current activities at Agami and also working to put in thought on where Agami should be in the next 10-20 years.

Volunteering is one of my passion, and it has inspired me to help the vulnerable. I grew up witnessing the suffering of disadvantaged communities, and this inspired me to make an impact. The passion has defined my career life in the humanitarian and development sector, where I have led impactful programs in program management, procurement, and operations in Bangladesh to respond the Rohingya Emergency.

I have successfully led large-scale projects, running smoothly, in accordance, and maximizing resources. Outside of my professional life, I also volunteer with Agami, a non-profit that provides education to underprivileged children in Bangladesh. My purpose remains unchanged—to offer opportunity, foster cooperation, and initiate sustainable change.
