Impressive Work by the Editorial Board of Agami News
I am new and was introduced to Agami by Sabir Majumder a few months back, but due to some personal issues, I took a step back and remained inactive for a while. However, I was able read a few issues of Agami News, particularly the last issue published in December 2020.
I was absolutely impressed by the high caliber of the newsletter produced by the volunteers. The formatting, get up, photos and artwork were stunning. The content was outstanding, describing the major activities of Agami Inc. What was particularly impressive was the write up in section, “Agami Education Foundation (AEF)” – one year of library project, English online simulation course and online simulation class for mathematics. The teachers’ corner in the Agami Nextgen section was very stimulating – it gives an impression about the teaching standards of Agami sponsored schools. I just have high praise for overall standard and depth of writing.
I have a couple of suggestions for the future issues of the newsletter:
One or two short writings and some artwork by the current Agami-sponsored students.
As Agami has well over two decades of experience with sponsoring schools, there must be a few students that are established in their lives. A write up by one of them in every newsletter would encourage current students and establish some networking.
A list of students who have graduated from college would tell a lot about the success of Agami’s long-standing collaborative efforts between the East and West.
