I am Md. Billal Hossain, son of Md. Manik Mia and Bilkis Begum from Pakuria, Sherpur. My father is a poor farmer, in spite of that, my parents have always managed fund for continuing my education. I have always studied in government schools from my childhood. Although I needed to work with my father in the field to earn and save money for my education, nothing could stop me from dreaming of becoming a doctor to serve the mass people. I must say, it was not an easy path for me due to the immeasurable poverty. It is the hard work, sacrifices of my parents, and unbeatable desire of mine which helped me pass school and college successfully.

In 2016, I was admitted to the University of Rajshahi and then in 2017, I got the chance to be admitted to a Medical College. After my admission when I came to Dhaka to study, I was overwhelmed with the sudden increase n my expenses. Like a torch, in the never- ending hopeless darkness, the honorable director of Alok Shikkhalay, an Agami- supported school stood beside me with financial support. From 2017, I am continuing my study with a scholarship from Alok Shikkhaloy School. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart to Alok Shikkhaloy and Agami Education Foundation for helping to fulfill my dream. Currently, I am a 4th-year student of the MBBS course at the Enam Medical College. I am hopeful that you will keep supporting me till the end of my journey towards becoming a doctor. When established, I will also stand by the underprivileged children and support all people in need to the best of my capacity.
