Agami Zakat Policy -

Agami is a secular non-profit organization supporting education for the underprivileged, poor children, primarily in Bangladesh. The donation funds collected by Agami are spent on various education related projects for underprivileged children. While considering a project for funding, Agami’s primary criterion in selecting the project is to see that it fits Agami's mission, vision, and core values, which include serving children without any form of discrimination including religion. Thus, your donation, including Zakat, to Agami may be used to fund projects where beneficiaries (students, teachers, and administrators) may belong to any and all faiths - Muslim and non-Muslim. Agami welcomes all donations including Zakat as long as you, as a donor, feel comfortable donating your Zakat funds to Agami in support of Agami's cause and without reservation to Agami's secular policy that doesn't discriminate based on faith/religion.
