Agami SouthEast Chapter is delighted to host an Agami watch party on Facebook on Friday 22nd, 2020, at 9.30pm EST. This musical evening endorses our motto – Together we Give, Together we Live, at all times, COVID or no COVID. The event has an interesting line-up of stars, Anila Chowdhury, Babna Karim, Chandan Zaman Ali and Shamsher Shuhash.

Over the last few months, Agami has been responding to crisis calls and provided relief in the form of survival kits to families of 3,000 students from Agami-sponsored schools in Bangladesh during March-April. As days go by, the impact of COVID-19 is of considerable magnitude. To cope with such unfortunate times and help those who need it most, we are identifying the emergent issues which include raising awareness through our school programs, health initiatives and teachers’ training. Understanding how to help students learn even when remotely situated and ensuring Agami volunteers and members have all necessary safety gears to help and serve the underprivileged are a few of the many proactive initiatives Agami is working on.  

Through our event, we will continue to pledge to our audience and artisits, for one-dollar contribution to our COVID-19 response, will increase Agami's chances of recovering from this pandemic by two-fold. Together we give… together we live.
