Dear Agami donors, volunteers and supporters, join us in a Global Giving Movement on May 5, 2020

#GivingTuesday

Thank you always for your indispensable support. As you all know, we have been working since March to provide relief in the form of survival kits to families of 3,000 students from Agami-sponsored schools in Bangladesh. We just finished the second round distribution of survival kits with your contribution to the COVID-19 relief campaign. As days go by, the impact of COVID-19 is of considerable magnitude. To cope with such unfortunate times and help those who need it most, we are identifying the emergent issues within Agami activities.

While we are maintaining social distancing and continuously working on creating awareness about safety standards across Agami entities, we will need your help to protect and respond to COVID-19 impact in Agami through our school programs, health initiatives and teacher training.

We have opened a list of options that represent our COVID-19 impact for Giving Tuesday. As you know, your one dollar contribution to our COVID-19 response, will increase our chance of doubling the value on Giving Tuesday on May 5th. Did you know that last year, #Giving Tuesday raised over $300 million for the non-profits, from more than 2 million donors, and this is because their contribution has helped organizations receive double the reward. If you can clock in early on Giving Tuesday and make a small donation, it will go a long way for us.

Please visit Agami on Facebook to donate to COVID-19 response or to Gofundme campaign to learn about Agami's COVID-19 response. Please join us in this Global Giving Movement on May 5, 2020 #GivingTuesday

AGAMI completed second round distribution of Survival Kit

Agami is actively working towards helping our Agami-sponsored schools. We want to stand by the underprivileged students and their families during current turbulent times. These financially distressed families need help from you and me, while they are locked at home and unable to afford a day's meal. Agami has already provided survival kits to families of 3,240 Agami-sponsored students (food supply for over 16,000 individuals at a cost of 26 Lacs in two rounds) and is actively preparing to distribute another round on a need basis. This is in line with our School Program which promotes the Health for Education objectives. Please click here on our active campaign to know more.

We have an entire team of Agami employees and volunteers who are working at ground level in Agami Education Foundation (AEF) in Bangladesh to bring food and supplies to our Agami-sponsored students and their families. This 'arsenal' workforce deserves a huge round of applause for going out of their way to provide help.
