Bangladesh’s Ministry of Education oversees the education system in Bangladesh. Children start with Primary Education (Class 1-8) then move into Secondary Education (Class 9-12). Secondary education is managed by 8 General Education Boards: Barisal, Chittagong, Comilla, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Jessore, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, and Sylhet. Upon graduation of Class 12, students have to opportunity to explore Tertiary Education through public and private colleges and universities.
