2019 Exam Results
An overview from Agami supported schools indicates that the pass rate in Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations have been consistent in last 2 years. The pass rate for PEC in 2019 is 93.45 percent, which is slightly lower than 2018's pass rate of 98.40 percent.
In 2019, JSC candidates secured 76.27 percent pass rate, compared to 81.70 percent pass rate in 2018. The number of GPA-5 earning students in JSC exam increased significantly compared to the previous year; a total of 5 candidates achieved GPA-5 this year, which was nil in the previous year’s record. Regarding the combined results of PEC in 10 Agami supported schools located both in rural and urban settings, a total of 161 examinees came out successful in 2019, which is 13 higher than the previous year.
In the JSC examination, a total of 284 candidates out of 369 passed the exams from 6 Agami supported secondary schools. Amongst all the primary schools, PSD-Pearabag, Bangladesh Mohila Samity primary school, Aalok Shikkhaloy, and Foyzunnessa Ahmed Foundation Academy Multilingual School earned the leading positions in terms of pass rates and GPA-5 achievers. Besides, the students of Chatpara Ideal Academy excelled in the JSC exam and 5 students secure GPA-5. Teachers and others stakeholders are working closer to maintain the overall progress and upward trend of students' records in the upcoming public exams. Md.
