Students Excel in JSC Examination

Chatpara Ideal Academy, an Agami supported school obtained the best result in Junior School Certificate (JSC) examination.  Students have outperformed in all counts in the last examination held in 2019. The indicators like participation rate, success rate and grades achieved -- showed that girls were well ahead of their counterparts, according to the results. 

A total of 48 girls and 32 boys sat for the examination after the successful completion of eight years schooling. Of them, 77 candidates have passed successfully and as many as 5 girls obtained GPA-5. For the last few years, female participation and grades in class-VIII terminal exams have also showed an upward trend. 

Overall, the pass rate in JSC rose to 96.25 percent, up by 0.65 percentages from that of recent past exam result. Similarly, the number of GPA-5 achievers rose significantly.

Sadia Sharmin Mim and Tonima Akhter secured Talent Pool scholarship and got average marks between 90-95%. Both of them are perusing 9th grade from science group. They dream of serving their community as well as working for the interest of the nation after becoming doctor. 

Besides Anika Tabassum Tuli, Khadija Akhter Emu and Sima Akhter ensured General Grade Scholarship after securing average 80-85% marks in all subjects. They want to be teacher.

The rewards of scholarship are BDT 450 per month for the Talent Pool and 300 BDT per month for the general grade students. All of them will get scholarship for the next two years while studying in grades 9 and 10.

Scholarship achievers, their parents and teachers are very happy with their current success and thankful to Agami. They hope that the society will be with them all the way to materialize their long-cherished dream.
